Dr. Mike Jauch

Orthodontist

Dr. Mike Jauch (pronounced Yowk) is originally from Clearwater, FL. He has wanted to be an orthodontist since the day he got his braces off in 9th grade. He always had a positive experience and couldn’t believe the effect it had on his self-confidence! Dr. Mike graduated from the International Baccalaureate (IB) program in high school where he was also a four-year letterman in varsity soccer, winning a state title as a sophomore. He then attended the University of Florida (Go Gators!) where he graduated with a bachelors in Food Science and Human Nutrition and a minor in Business Administration. He went on to obtain his dental degree at Lake Erie College of Dental Medicine (LECOM) in Sarasota, FL. Upon graduating from dental school, Dr. Mike practiced as a general dentist in Florida for three years before returning to orthodontic residency at Seton Hill University outside of Pittsburgh, PA. At Seton Hill, he earned his certificate and Master’s Degree in orthodontics. He then completed the necessary steps to become board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics. He continues to stay up to date with the latest orthodontic technology by attending conferences and completing continuing education courses. Dr. Mike is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, Southern Association of Orthodontists, and the American Board of Orthodontics.

Dr. Mike met his wife Emma, who is also a dentist, while in dental school at LECOM. Emma was born and raised in the Spartanburg area and they are excited to be able to settle down and plant some roots in South Carolina. They have two kids, Parker who is three, and Molly will be one in April. They also have two dogs, Sutton and Stella.

Outside of the office, Dr. Mike and his family enjoy being outdoors, whether it be on a boat, the beach, or the golf course. They value time spent with friends and family. He is a huge sports fanatic and loves talking about anything from football, baseball, hockey, or soccer. Communication is one of his core principles and he enjoys getting to know each patient and their family. He can’t wait to meet you!
