It is best if you refrain from using words around your child that might cause unnecessary fear. Words that we prefer you not use with your child: Needle, Shot, Pull or Yank, Blood, Pain or Hurt, Drill. We do not use these words in our office. We do explain to your child what we are going to do in a way that does not upset them. It is our goal to make your child's visit a pleasant experience. We want your child to be happy and look forward to visiting our office again.

We strive to make each and every visit to our office a fun one! For your convenience when visiting our office, please print the following forms, complete the information and bring them with you on your first visit.

Registration Form To print the form you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader. If you do not have Adobe Acrobat, please click here to download it for free to your computer. By marking or placing stickers on the specific days, the below listed charts will assist you in helping your child to be motivated to brush their teeth or remember not to place their fingers in their mouth. If you have another daily reminder you would like for your child, print out the blank chart and fill in the title. The charts will help your young ones enjoy taking care of their teeth. Your
child should visit the dentist by his/her 1st birthday. You can
make the first visit to the dentist enjoyable and positive. Your child
should be informed of the visit and told that the dentist and his staff will
explain all procedures and answer any questions. The less to-do concerning
the visit, the better.
One
day before so very long you are coming to visit us. We are dentists and
our names are Dr. Richard Cross, Dr. Kevin Raines Dr. Jamie Cross
Gomez, and Dr. Rob Nieders. We enjoy having boys and girls come visit us. We also enjoy helping
them keep their teeth pretty and clean so they can smile and eat and grow.
stay in the reception room and read magazines. We will put a napkin
around your neck so that when we brush your teeth no toothpaste will get
on your clothes. We will talk to you and look at your teeth.
During our visit we may take some pictures of your teeth and brush your
teeth with an electric toothbrush.
When our visit is
over, you can stop by our toy chest and you may pick out a little surprise
for yourself.
